Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and report food waste and shortages.
Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
